H-E-M Junior / Senior High Home

Dear Parent and Guardians,

As I write this we all are missing the daily contact that we usually have with you and your students. It is tough to be in the school without the hustle and bustle of a typical school day and the chatter of students throughout the halls. That being said we are working hard to help prepare and get ready for online and remote learning for your students beginning next week (April 6). We will have books and packets of materials ready and available for pick up in each community for you and your child at the schools in that community beginning on April 6 (please see the schedule). Should you not be available to come at your designated time, please contact the school (307-325-6545 or and we will make other arrangements.

We have also been working to make arrangements for online learning. There were phone calls made to check on device and internet access. Please call the school or email Mr. Priest, if you have not already, to give us your status for access to the internet and device (computer, tablet, etc.) availability.

This is definitely a time of change and learning for us all. We are learning how to make adaptations to our lessons and plans in order to make learning happen. Our teachers are adapting in order to make learning happen. We will all need to help each other and be flexible to make this successful, please know that we are working tirelessly to help your students. As we start the online learning I suggest that you have your students follow a schedule in order to keep them successful. Follow a schedule similar to that of a normal school day if at all possible. Our teachers will be using Schoology, Zoom, and Google. Please have your students log into their Schoology accounts and check their school-issued gmail. There will be a lot of info shared through these means.

Please continue to check the district website ( where you can make sure to stay up to date on the latest info and ensure you are on the district enotes information delivery system (you can sign up for enotes on the district website: We will continue to share information in order to keep you informed. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work together to help make your child's education our top priority.

As always, contact us at the school with any questions.
